What to know about marrying in Kentucky
A Kentucky license is good statewide but only for a ceremony in Kentucky, and it expires 30 days after it is issued, counting the day you get it. Jefferson County charges $60 for everyone. Kentucky requires two witnesses besides the couple and the officiant. Alcohol rules depend on whether the venue sits in wet, moist or dry territory, so check each venue's alcohol line.
